March 2022 Art Demonstration

Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 3-5pm Joe A. Oakes will demonstrate his colorful acrylic Plein Air technique.

Joe’s landscapes are about the joy of nature and its colors. He paints with colors that evoke feelings of the first brilliant seconds of sunrise and the last fiery moments of sunset. He expresses those feelings using his signature technique of employing bold, vibrant highlights and shadows of violet hues.

Admission is Free for members and $10 to non-members.

Each person attending will receive a raffle ticket for a prize chosen by the artist.  Coffee and snacks will be provided.

No RSVP. Tickets at the door. Please leave time to visit our Gallery and park.

As an acrylic Plein Air painter John Cosby travels extensively painting what he sees and feels. Bold use of color and an energetic brush stroke combined with the truth of the place is what you will see and feel when viewing a painting by John.

2022 Paint San Clemente

We are now accepting entries to Paint San Clemente which will be held in June.
